Mark C Stahl, DO

Apex Allergy and Asthma, led by Dr. Mark Stahl, DO, provides expert allergy and asthma care for adults and children in San Antonio, Texas. A double board-certified specialist in allergy, immunology, and pediatrics, he provides personalized, innovative, and cost-effective treatments tailored to each patient’s needs.


Dr. Stahl earned his doctor of osteopathy degree from Michigan State University in 2003, followed by a pediatric residency at Keesler Air Force Base and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. 


Dr. Stahl completed a fellowship in pediatric and adult allergy/immunology at Wilford Hall Medical Center and served 11 years in the United States Air Force, where he gained extensive experience managing complex allergy and immunology cases.


Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Stahl has held academic positions at Wright State University, the University of Texas Health Science Center, and Baylor College of Medicine. He previously served as the Allergy Clinic Director at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio, demonstrating his leadership in the field. 



By actively participating in research and professional organizations, including the Texas Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology Society and the San Antonio Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology Society, Dr. Stahl remains at the forefront of advancements in allergy and immunology to ensure the highest quality care for his patients.

David E. Hrncir, MD

Dr. David E. Hrncir is a board-certified allergist with over three decades of experience in allergy and immunology, pediatrics, and aerospace medicine. 


Dr. Hrncir earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Before entering private practice, he served with the United States Air Force for 26 years, during which he held key leadership roles, including chief flight surgeon, chief of pediatrics, chief of allergy and immunology, and chief of aeromedical services. 


Dr. Hrncir also pursued advanced medical training at renowned institutions such as Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health in Maryland, David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California, the School of Aerospace Medicine at Brooks Air Force Base in Texas, and Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.
